Professional presence is so much more than physical appearance. It's the way we communicate verbally and in writing. It's our ability to both speak and listen. It's the message we send others in our body language and our ability to read that of others. It's the elimination of verbal and physical distractors that keep others from hearing what we have to say. It's our genuine, rich engagement with others.
All of this affects the good work we do daily with colleagues, clients, the industry in which we work, and has a significant impact on our precious reputation and that of the organization we represent.
